Spectre Cell

First seen 2018

The key of this archetype is the upgrade card Spectre Cell, which brings incredible value (raw ressources AND an extra attack per turn) in exchange for sticking to a very strict list of figures. Incredibly dominant because of Spectre Cell's flat +1 block / +1 damage as originally printed, it eventually got nerfed after a long season where it dominated most tournaments. The nerfed Spectre Cell upgrade gives out 2 power tokens per turn instead of a flat bonus making the archetype much fairer, but still viable and fun to play with its very dynamic gameplay. A strength of the archetype is its ability to pull off strong combo turns with Ezra Bridger coming adjacent to the enemy using free movement points, double-attacking via Pummel then immediately activating another figure using Strength in Numbers, who can in turn let Ezra attack again using the Spectre Cell upgrade extra attack. This kind of devastating combo can be game-winning, but post-nerf needs to be planned well.
